The Hastings Building is located on the main drag in Downtown Port Townsend. It is a beautiful example of Victorian architecture. The building is abandoned and full of ghosts. It has three floors and is planned for a full historic rehabilitation project. My students and I have photographed there for over three years. There are quite a few birds that get into the building, get stuck and die. One struck me as beautiful. I tried to photograph myself with the bird. I felt nervous to go into the building but it had been awhile since I had done any self-portraits. Here are the images.
